You know how when you’re sitting around with friends, at some point you end up telling stories and everyone laughs. And, of course, every now and then, it turns it to an unofficial game of “one ups”? This game takes that typical night with friends and turns it into an official game of “one ups.”
There are over 100 topic cards, ranging from things like “tell a story about a an ex” to “tell about a butt dial.” Everyone gets the opportunity to tell their own story on the topic. Whoever tells the best story, as decided by group vote, wins the point. Whoever has the most points at the end of the game is crowned the One Upper.
There are also two 36-card expansion packs available. The Not Safe For Work pack features more risque cards like “tell about a night that ended in an arrest (or near arrest)” and “tell a story involving unexpected nudity.” The School Days pack features topics likely to lead to stories from your younger years, such as “tell about a time you played hooky” or “tell a story about something that happened when you were home without your parents.”
This game is for those 18 years and older.
